1968 Buick GS 400 Convertible
This Buick GS 400 Convertible is in for a full “spiff up.” The car was completely disassembled down to the base body and frame, and inspected. General restoration processes were next - from new GM body mounts and hardware to reconditioning and rebuilding of the original suspension. All suspension components are powder coated in GM chassis black, and the floor pan and frame are epoxy coated and covered in original style under coating. The engine is being fully rebuilt, as is the transmission. The suspension is being fully rebuilt using MOOG replacement parts, and the front brakes are being upgraded to disc for modern drivability. The original shocks are tossed in favor of RideTech RQ shocks to improve the handling and ride quality. The poor original wiring is being tossed and will be replaced by a Painless Performance harness. Sheet metal repairs are being completed throughout, and the car will be painted in the original Buick white using PPG materials.
